.....Okayyy, so uhhh, not gonna lie, I honestly had no flippin' idea how I'm actually gonna introduce myself here, so I guess you could say I have massive writer's block right now!??! But somehow, as I'm writing this introduction post, bit by bit, everything is starting to come together LOL.

...Anywho, welcome to my bloggg!! woohoo!!

It is me, Pearl Murmu, the girl behind Smileypearly24!!! yayyy! Sooo... let me tell y'all a little fun fact about how I actually got my online blog name. Well, it all started when I randomly asked my mum what rhymes with the name Pearly, and she randomly said Smiley, and when I heard this, I FREAKING LOVED IT!!

Because it sounded very fun, very quirky, and very me! And BOOM! That's how I got my blog name haha, and as for the numbers, 24, these numbers represent my birth date. So let's just say this happened completely on a whim LOL. And finally decided to go with this name, mostly because I wanted to create a name that's super memorable, amusing and something that screams MOIII !!

Aaahhh so...now let me officially invite you all into my first-ever blog website! An online space. My happy place and a digital haven of my own where I want to completely dedicate it to pretty much everything happening in my daily life, things I like and discover, fashion, food, random thoughts and musings that you might be interested in??, my arts and crafts, ooh....

anddd...also probably gonna be recommending some great shows, movies, books and music albums I'm madly in love with. Literally whatever pops into my head is definitely going to be archived here...Ohhh, and let me tell you another thing, you see, this is a blog which I've been meaning to do for a VERYYY LONG TIME , and when I say a very long time, I SERIOUSLY MEAN IT!

But I'm gonna be real with you guys, I don't really know how this whole blogging thing really works LOL, but one thing I can tell you is that I'm VERYYY EXCITED AND THRILLED to start a blog!!...And I also thought to myself, what better place to begin writing a blog than right here on Blogger, where I found it to be the perfect platform to kick-start my blogging journey and grow my online presence, so I'd love to bring you all along with me!

Jumping right into it, my full name is Evangeline Ananya Pearl Murmu , but my friends mostly like to call me Eva, Pearl and sometimes Pearly, and I'm a 20 something year old Indian girl. Where I spent most of my early life and childhood in Sri-Lanka and Mauritius, which are incredibly beautiful tropical islands, might I add!

And whenever the holidays roll around, I always look forward to flying back to India to spend time with my family. So yeah, as you can see, most of the time I'm basically hopping back and forth LOL.

When it comes to languages, I speak English, Hindi, and French (not super fluent, but I can manage hihi). Currently, I'm trying to learn my mother tongue, called Santhali, which is a tribal language that's quite unique and distinct. But uhhh, real talk, I sometimes mix up these languages all the time because it's sooo hard to keep up, but I always try my best haha.

As of right now, I'm prepping myself because I will soon be stepping into a new academic stage, and that is starting a new Master's programme, where I'm gonna be majoring in Project Management in Malaysia for another year. Since I freshly graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Business Management, specialising in E-business. I'm very nervous as heck but also kinda ready for this new wonderful chapter of my life.

Let's talk about my hobbies. I seriously have loads of hobbies that I love doing, one of which is creating art; it's seriously my biggest❤passion in life. It's also no secret that I'm a creative soul!!!

As I'm always drawn to doing anything artsy, you'll usually catch me doing some journalling, writing and pouring my thoughts into my diary, doodling, drawing, scrapbooking, or working on some crafty projects from time to time.

Another deep❤calling of mine is filming and editing videos; it's mostly fun vlogs, taking pictures, and collecting little memories everywhere I go. Psstt...I also do YouTube, so don't forget to subscribe to my channel for more videos hehe. I'll have it linked up in the upper tabs.

Music 4 Lifeee!!!

Ooooh, and how can I forget, I'm also big on MUSIC EEEEKKK! , it's literally one of my greatest loves in the world...like, no kidding. As I always grab my earphones whenever I get the chance to listen to some tracks, because seriously, I cannot live without it haha. It's also a major part of my daily hobbies, too. Where my sister and I would sing along to our favourite songs together (ahhh yes, that's karaoke, a very fun activity, which I enjoy very much). Other times I also play the guitar (although ummm, I'm not perfect at it; I'm still very much a learner LOL). But these days, I've also gotten into the piano, and gonna try to revive my piano playing skills as well. Slowly but surely...gotta practice, practice, practice!

Other than that, I'm always online binge-watching YouTube videos, sitcoms, shows, and playing Roblox, so if y'all know any fun games, please recommend them to me! , I can't wait to try them. Cause right now, I'm running out of games and don't know what I'm really interested in playing.

...Aaahhh, but like, in all sincerity, I would say I'm someone who doesn't really like to ask for much from life: only my precious family and friends, God's Love, sleeping on my very cosy bed and sofa, having a hot cup of chai, cartoons, my sketchbook, a good music playlist, a wholesome series, deep conversations, charming boutiques and shops, cute stationery, accessories, plushies and collectable toys. Honestly, at the end of the day, these are the only things that truly matter to me.
