Hello World!!!

The Start of Something Brand New

\

You know, sometimes I still wonder if they're still there, walking around the same place, waiting for us like they used to.And that thought still stays with me.

all the boxes in the car

So, Oh wow, this is very exciting...umm, hello readers!!, and welcome to my first ever post here on Blogger.

Wrapping up the fridge

At my walls, the corners, and the window.
I am still getting used to everything, figuring out where our things belong, creating a new rhythm, and slowly settling in. This house doesn't feel like home just yet...but...soon it will, and that's okay. Because I think a home isn't something you immediately have, but it's something you build over time, through memories, and all the things you collect and create along the way.

Everything looked so empty and quiet.
But hey, that's how moving really is.
One thing I can say, though, is that the hardest part of moving wasn't just leaving the house-it was the stray cats.

There were 5 of them, along with a few other cats that used to visit us from time to time. We used to feed them every day. These little cuties weren't really ours, but they became part of our daily lives so naturally. They would show up, sit around here and there, and their presence was something we felt so deeply. It was truly lovely having them around.

But then, suddenly, we sadly had to leave.
Now that we've moved, the new house feels really special and calming-and as I looked at the empty rooms, they seemed full of endless possibilities, like a blank page waiting to be filled.

Welcome to my very first blog post!
I didn't really know how to begin this, but somehow, writing about this moment felt right. So this post is about me moving into our new home, which was actually super fun. Moving into a completely new space
feels so refreshing, but also very comforting at the same time.

Moving day, well, for me, felt very chaotic, haha, because there were just so many boxes everywhere, and things were being wrapped, carried, and moved. But in between all of these moments, there were also small pauses where I took time to admire my stuff.

My journals, my soft toys, and other little items that mean soooooo much to me!! It felt so nice to look back on them because they reminded me of how carefully I've kept and cherished them. In each of them, I could see a memory, a feeling, and a different version of myself, and honestly, in that second, my heart felt warm, and I couldn't help but feel grateful. While I was in my bedroom, removing my things and decorations, I stood there for a while just looking around...

And no matter where I go, I'll always carry pieces of the places and things I've loved with me.

I love my new home. May God bless our place!!
Thank you so much for reading my first blog post...this is the start of something new.
Until the next story,
Pearl Murmu
